Welcome to the Mammoth Mountain Retreat Condos

Mammoth Mountain in nestled in the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountain range of
Inyo Kern County in California. The town of Mammoth Lakes sites is at an elevation
of 7,800 - 8,200 feet with the surrounding mountains rising to elevations exceeding
14,000feet.
Mammoth Lakes is approx. 325 miles from either Los Angeles or San Francisco and
only 164 miles from Reno, Nevada. The town of Mammoth Mountain is situated on 4
square miles and has approx. 7,500 residents year round. In the winter season the
town of Mammoth Lakes can swell to over 35,000. The draw is the world class alpine
skiing, boarding, endless miles of cross country skiing, snow shoeing and unsurpassed
snow conditions.
There is more. Summer in Mammoth Mountain offers endless enjoyment of the outdoors,
from miles of hiking trails, downhill bicycling, dirt bike riding, sledding, backpacking,
boarding, mountain biking, cross country skiing, boating, golfing, bountiful fishing,
lakes and streams at every turn and for course shopping, dinning and relaxing. This
is California living at its best!

Surrounding the town of Mammoth Mountain are seemly endless acres of forest that
are bordered by the Ansel Adams and John Muir Wilderness Areas which comprise 3,018
square miles. The Sierra Nevada region is characterized by its mountains, forests,
lakes and streams. Amidst all this natural beauty is one of the world class ski
resorts - Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. The peak of Mammoth Mountain is 11,053 feet
and offers over 3,500 skiable acres.
The history of Mammoth Lakes is rich in culture and the pioneer spirit. The remnant
of days gone by bares witness to the histories of both the Paiute and Shoshone Indians
and the Gold Mining Boom and Bust of the town of Bodi which just outside of Mammoth
Lakes.
Summers temperatures in Mammoth Lakes average 75-80 degrees for a high and seldom
drop below 40 for a low. Winter temperatures average 30-40 degrees for a high and
10-20 degrees for a low. On an average there are 300 sunny days a year and approx.
385 inches of snow and Mammoth Mountain Ski Area often has skiing until July 4th.

Our family fell in love with Mammoth Mountain many years ago and we still revel in its
beauty and awesome magnitude, which is why we choose to have a special place to
come to when we visit Mammoth Mountain.
Our family condo offers a comfortable and inviting place to rest and reminisce the
day's activities and adventures of fishing, hiking, skiing, mountain biking or horseback
riding.
Decorated in a mountain theme that is complementary to the surrounding majestic
mountains our rental condo is a great place to feel part of Mammoth and nature yet
have the comforts of home.
This is our family condo that we rent to others who appreciate this special place
called Mammoth Mountain. Our rental condo has been referred to by our previous guest
as a Mountain Retreat, Mammoth Getaway, Krystal Villa Condo, Mountain Condo, Mountain
Villa, Mammoth Retreat or the Mammoth Condo Rental. Our family hopes to provide
a cozy, comfortable and affordable place to stay while you visit and experience
Mammoth.

There are many condos in Mammoth for rent but we like to think that we offer you
